Year 7-11 students have the opportunity to access a supervised classroom during lunchtimes if they wish to play games on either their laptop or mobile device. This allows students to play games as a leisure activity in a safe and supported environment. There are a limited number of spaces available in the gaming room and we encourage a balanced approach

To access this space, students must:

• Ensure they have eaten their lunch.

• Follow the Digital Technology Responsible Use Policy.

• Only play age-appropriate games.

• Engage in the games in a polite and respectful manner that upholds the values of Discovery College.

• Leave the gaming space 5 minutes before the end of lunchtime so they can arrive at their next lesson on time.
