Description:
Are you passionate about technological innovation and entrepreneurship? The T&M-DDP taster program offers a unique opportunity to explore the process of developing viable business plans for emerging technology and business. Also, you can have a taste of the International Business Plan Competition (IBPC) which is a unique enrichment activity provided by T&M-DDP.

How to Prepare for a Uni Fair and What is Unifrog?
Attending a university fair is a great opportunity to meet representatives from different universities all in one place, and get answers to all your questions about future opportunities and what a particular university is like. In this seminar, your DC HE Counsellors will guide you through the process and give valuable tips on how to prepare and the type of questions to ask. We will also introduce an exciting higher education platform, Unifrog and lead you through a personality and career questionnaire to help you identify your strengths and interests.

Alum Sharing: It’s not UNI-lateral - A guide to Alternative Pathways
Not sure what you want to do after school? Don't worry, that's totally normal! Listen to our alum who have followed different pathways - some of them have taken gap years and some have completely changed direction. Come and feel reassured that you do not need to have a clear cut career pathway!

Do you want to be A Filmstar?
What is the difference between Stage and Screen acting? Come along to this talk to discover the differences between them, and this will change your view of film acting, and film actors forever. Prof. Michael Bray, programme director of Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Acting for Global Screen, will walk you through the quality needed to be an excellent screen actor, and how having the right mental approach to the job distinguishes the best from the rest. Prof. Bray is the teacher to many notable students including Finn Jones (Game of Thrones, Iron Fist) and Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel, No Time to Die).

The Next Step: MYP to DP/CP (Y11 Only)
This workshop will focus on giving tips and support for the upcoming DP cohorts. One thing that the current year 12s and year 13s have noticed is that there was a missing crucial segment to the transition from the MYP to the IB diploma programme and also the IB CP. This workshop aims to cover misconceptions and help students on the right path to being prepared for their future. This involves crucial resources, time management techniques as well as an early introduction to research into Higher Education.
